Your account
›How do I create an account?
Click Login at the top of the page and choose Create an account. You can sign up with your email address, your mobile number, or your Google or Facebook account.
›I signed up with Google or Facebook. Do I need a password?
No. Just choose the same Google or Facebook button each time you sign in. If your email address is the same as an existing SouqNax account, both are linked to that account.
›How do I change my name or profile details?
Sign in, open the menu at the top right and choose My Profile.
›I forgot my password.
Password reset by email is coming soon. Until then, sign in with your mobile number, or with Google or Facebook if they use the same email, or contact us.
›How do I delete my account?
Follow the steps on the Data Deletion page.
Selling
›How do I post an ad?
Click Place Your Ad, pick a category, fill in the details, add clear photos and set your price and location. Posting is free.
›Why isn't my ad visible yet?
New ads are reviewed before they go live, usually quickly. You can see the status of every ad in My Listings.
›How do I edit, mark as sold or delete my ad?
Open My Listings and use the options on the ad.
›How can I get more views?
- use a clear title with the brand, model and key details;
- add several sharp, well-lit photos;
- set a fair price and answer messages quickly;
- promote your ad as a featured listing; see My Promotions.
Buying
Staying safe
- meet in a busy public place and inspect the item before you pay;
- never send money, deposits or gift cards in advance to someone you have not met;
- never share passwords, card numbers or verification codes, not even with someone claiming to be from SouqNax;
- be careful with prices that look too good to be true;
- report suspicious ads or users to us through Contact Us, with a link to the ad.
